Winter dreams ... Skiing fun is guaranteed!

Zwieselstein is between the most beautiful and snow secured skiing areas of Tyrol - Sölden-Hochsölden, the glacier skiing area and Obergurgl-Hochgurgl.

All skiing areas are reachable in a few minutes by car or with a ski bus, which is free of charge. The bus stop is directly at our front door and the bus leaves all few minutes to the lift stations.

The Skiing Area Sölden

World Cup village and one of the most popular skiing and boarding centres of Europe. The generous slopes in all difficulties, the excellent preparation of the 150 kilometres of slopes and the absolute snow guarantee from November to May are important points for the unique winter adventure. Two glacier areas, the “Rettenbach” and “Tiefenbach” are offering also skiing fun in summer.

A speciality of Sölden’s skiing area are the BIG 3. Three 3000 metres high summits, which are reachable by gondolas!

The winter skiing area is connected to the glacier area through the “Golden Gate to the Glacier”. You could directly get from the village to the glacier up on 3250 metres. The longest downhill run is from the “Schwarze Schneid- Rettenbach” down to the valley. (about 12,8 kilometres).

The excellent altitude from 1800 to 3080 metres offers endless skiing fun above the treeline. Built through a long tradition Obergurgl-Hochgurgl is an absolute secretly bet for a lot of skiers. There is no mass tourism, in Obergurgl-Hochgurgl you have enough space for wide skiing on 110 kilometres of slopes.

“Waiting at the lifts” is on 22 modern lifts a foreign word. No waiting times at the lifts, free slopes and a 100% snow guarantee! 90% of all slopes have the possibility to be snowed artificially up to 3000 metres. Obergurgl-Hochgurgl has the reputation to be the most snow-secured village in the Alps.
